Oh, and help kids.
Tomato Nation’s spring contest is up. And has been up for a while–I’m slow on the draw, apparently.
We are, once again, giving to Donors Choose, this time through their handy-dandy challenge-tracking system. If we raise $30,000 by March 29, Sars will shave her head and post the results online. Oh, and we’ll help a boatload of kids learn cool things. All donators will go into a random drawing for other cool things.
As of this writing, there’s less than $6,000 to go to meet phase one of the challenge. So go! Go donate! I funded the proposal titled “Continuing Fourth Graders Interest in Non-fiction…” because learning about world events is good. It still needs about $800.
This charity is truly awesome, so…go! Go donate!
3/22/2006 Update: The contest is now closed, having raised $30,000. Head-shaving to commence when it’s not Sars’s birthday. Go wish her a happy birthday!
