Root, Root, Root for the Rosemary

August 21st, 2007 | View Comments

I am a bad plant foster mommy. This morning I gleefully took a pair of pruning shears to the rosemary I’m taking care of (with my friend’s blessing). Per the instructions on the About.com rosemary page, I dipped the end into some rooting hormone and planted it into some seed starting mix.

Right now it’s sitting in my kitchen, next to a shaded window. After this stormy weather passes, I’ll put it outside to soak up the predicted 90-degree weather coming up.

Rosemary cutting

Grow, little guy, grow!
