HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ain’t that the truth.
I particularly love the smiling (and full) first-year cohort, followed by the rest of the grad students in various “SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME” poses with an increasing number of empty spaces per class.
I’m not actually on our department picture board. I took my picture down because it didn’t meet my looks-sufficiently-not-like-a-freak threshold. I keep meaning to replace it with a picture in which it looks like I brush my hair, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
It’s too bad no one archives these picture boards. I’m extremely curious if my advisor (who wouldn’t look too out of place among the Real Faculty in the comic) actually had hair at any point during his faculty tenure.
