This Must be a Certifiable Insanity

So here’s my situation:

It is cold outside.

It costs a lot of money to heat my apartment.

So I keep the heat set pretty low, and just put on a lot of clothes. Right now, it’s 63.5° Fahrenheit in here. I am wearing four layers of clothes, some fingerless mitts, and a scarf.

I have tropical plants, which do not like the cold.

I have a gas stove, which stays pretty warm thanks to the pilot light.

I have put my plants on top of the stove, so they can stay warm.

I am too lazy to move the plants so I can cook.

As a result, I have been eating take-out, paninis, and microwave frozen dinners for the last two weeks. If it can’t be made on my indoor grill, in the microwave, or in a restaurant, I won’t eat it.

I have discovered that Amy’s frozen dinners are really, really good, though small.

This is weird, isn’t it?
